All your Genki insurance documents are available in the Member Center. This article explains where to find each one, when you might need them, and what to do if you have multiple people insured under one account.
β Your insurance certificate
The insurance certificate is the document you use as proof of your insurance, most commonly when applying for a visa or when entering a country.
To find your certificate:
1οΈβ£ Log into the Member Center.
2οΈβ£ Scroll down to the Documents section.
3οΈβ£ Click on the certificate to download or print it.
Your certificate is available immediately after sign-up and can be downloaded as many times as you need.
π₯ If multiple people are insured under your account
If you have several insurances under one account (for example, family members or yourself plus a partner), you'll need to select the right person first to see their certificate.
At the top of the Member Center, click the dropdown list showing the name of the current person.
Select the person whose certificate you want.
Scroll down to Documents to find their certificate.
Each insured person has their own certificate, even if all are managed under one account.
π Other documents available in the Member Center
The Documents section of the Member Center holds your full set of insurance documents:
Insurance certificate β proof of insurance, includes a summary for public authorities like immigration.
Consultation protocol β documentation of the contract conclusion (i.e. the record of your sign-up).
Insurance conditions β all contractual details, including coverage, exclusions, and procedures.
Product information β a summary of your health insurance benefits.
Invoices are kept separately, under Your Data β Invoices, with one entry for each billing period. For more on how invoices work, see Understanding your invoices, billing date, and renewal cycle.
These documents are useful when you need to confirm exactly what's covered, check coverage details, or review past payments.
π Using your certificate for a visa application
Many customers use their Genki certificate as proof of health insurance for visa applications. The certificate includes:
The name of the insured person
The product name and coverage region
The validity period
The main coverage details
While Genki provides comprehensive documentation, visa approval is at the discretion of local immigration authorities, and we can't guarantee that any specific certificate will be accepted by any given embassy or consulate.
If a particular consulate has unusual documentation requirements, contact our support team and we'll do our best to help.
β οΈ If you can't find a document
A few common reasons a document might not appear:
You may need to select the correct person from the dropdown at the top of the Member Center.
The certificate is generated after your first payment is successfully processed β if you've just signed up and your first payment is still pending, the certificate may not be available yet.
If your insurance has been terminated or canceled, documents from your active period remain accessible in the Member Center, but no new certificates will be generated. If termination was due to non-payment, see Reactivating insurance after termination for non-payment.
