⚙️ How to Use This Benefit
You have two options to receive coverage for alternative treatments:
Option 1 – With Prior Approval
You can visit a licensed therapist or practitioner directly (no doctor visit required first),
but you must obtain prior approval from the insurer (Squarelife) before starting treatment.

Your name & policy number
Type of treatment (e.g., chiropractic, acupuncture)
Brief medical background or diagnosis (if available)
Cost estimate (if known)
Option 2 – With a Doctor’s Prescription
You can first consult any licensed doctor (not necessarily a general practitioner).
If the doctor prescribes alternative treatments (e.g., chiropractic sessions, massages, or acupuncture) as medically necessary, the treatments can be reimbursed according to your plan limits.
⚠️ Important Notes
Treatments must serve to alleviate medical symptoms — not for wellness, relaxation, or leisure purposes.
Medical massages must always be prescribed by a doctor.
If no prior approval or prescription is obtained, the claim may be rejected or reimbursed only partially.
Total reimbursement for all alternative treatments combined is limited to €500 per insurance year.
