What's changing in Genki Native?

New Genki Native conditions (version "1 September 2026")

Written by Pedro

Genki Native launched new insurance conditions (version "1 September 2026") in late September 2026. Customers who started their application once this version was live are insured under the new conditions from the start.

If your insurance started earlier, your current conditions stay in place until the start of your new insurance year. The new conditions are then applied automatically. You do not need to take any action. Your Insurance Conditions in the Member Center show which version applies to you.

We regularly review and update the insurance conditions to make the coverage easier to understand, address customer feedback, and keep the insurance benefits and costs balanced and sustainable over time.

Your monthly price may also change for the new insurance year. Before the change takes effect, we'll email you the effective date, your new monthly price, and a summary of the changes. If you do not wish to continue under the new conditions, you may cancel your insurance effective the date the changes take effect.

🔄 Waiting periods when moving to the new conditions

Waiting periods from the new conditions apply only to benefits that are new or extended. Waiting periods you have already completed do not start again.

  • Preventive Care: no new waiting period

  • Dental checkups, cleaning, endodontics, extractions, fillings, and periodontics: no new waiting period

  • Dental implants: newly covered, with a 12-month waiting period starting on the date the new conditions take effect for you

  • USA: your previous USA emergency coverage continues without a waiting period. A 3-month waiting period may apply to USA coverage that goes beyond your previous conditions.

The changes depend on the conditions you currently have. If you're not sure which conditions apply to you, contact us at help@genki.world.
