All current Genki Explorer new members will have insurance with a €50 deductible.
The 50€ deductible is the amount that is not reimbursable out of the total amount of a claim.
For example, given a deductible of €50 and a doctor's bill of €1,000, you would pay €50 and we would pay the remaining €950.
The €50 deductible is applied once per insurance case, not for every bill.
All the bills related to the treatment of the same condition will be attached to the same claim and the €50 deductible is only deducted once out of the full amount of all the bills combined.
If you file a claim with an amount lower than 50€ and you have a plan with a 50€ deductible, that claim will not be reimbursable.
At the moment there is no other deductible option with Genki Explorer.
If the no-deductible is again introduced the information will be visible in the website.
