For any planned inpatient surgery, the hospital must contact the Emergency Assistance team before admission. This is especially important for non-emergency surgeries.

β Medically necessary inpatient surgeries are covered.
β No upfront payment required β Costs are settled directly between the hospital and the insurer.
β MCI Assist will coordinate payments with the hospital.

β Special Arrangements β If the hospital requires specific billing agreements, MCI Assist will confirm the coverage details.
β Sanctioned Countries β Direct billing may not be available in certain countries. In such cases, you may need to pay upfront and file a claim for reimbursement.
