If necessary, Genki Traveler covers your transport back to your home country for medical reasons. This could include transport by air ambulance or another suitable vehicle, depending on the severity of your condition.

πŸ›‘ Important Points to Know:

1. Must Be Managed by Emergency Assistance

  • The repatriation process must be arranged and managed by the Emergency Assistance team (MCI Assist).

2. Not Automatic

  • Repatriation is not automatically granted. It is subject to review by the Emergency Assistance team and depends on the medical necessity of your condition.

3. Covered When Medically Necessary

  • Repatriation is only covered when deemed medically necessary by your doctor. If your doctor determines that you are fit to travel and it is safe to return home, repatriation can be arranged.

4. Requesting Repatriation

  • Medical repatriation is not mandatory. You must request it, and the insurer must accept it based on the conditions mentioned above.

5. Contact MCI Assist

  • Please make sure to reach out to MCI Assist if you need medical repatriation. They will guide you through the process and help you with the arrangements.

Genki Traveler is here to support you every step of the way! πŸŒπŸ’Ό
