Genki Native offers coverage in every country in the world, without any restrictions related to travel warnings. However, coverage may vary depending on your plan and the country you're located in—especially if it's your country of citizenship, or if you are staying in the USA or Canada.

🟦 Genki Native Basic

In Your Country of Citizenship:

  • Coverage is limited to 30 days per insurance year

  • Up to €250,000 maximum coverage

  • Only life-threatening emergencies and transport to another country are covered

In the USA & Canada:

  • Combined limit of 30 days per insurance year across both countries

  • Up to €250,000 maximum coverage

  • Limited to accidents and life-threatening emergencies only

  • Even if the USA or Canada is your country of citizenship, this limitation still applies

  • Coverage cannot be upgraded in these regions with the Basic plan

US Territories:

  • Territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, and US Minor Outlying Islands are not treated as part of the USA

🟩 Genki Native Premium

In Your Country of Citizenship:

  • Unlimited coverage (no day or amount limit)

  • All benefits apply just as they would in any other country

In the USA & Canada:

  • Combined limit of 30 days per insurance year

  • Up to €250,000 maximum coverage

  • Only life-threatening emergencies and transport to another country are covered

  • These limitations apply even if you are a citizen of the USA or Canada

General Note:

  • There is no maximum time limit for staying in any country abroad

  • Coverage continues as long as your insurance remains active

If you stay in the USA or Canada for more than 30 days in the same insurance year:

  • Your insurance will not be canceled, but

  • You won’t be covered in the USA or Canada again until the next calendar year

🧭 Temporary Alternative: Genki Traveler

If you need longer coverage in the USA or Canada, you can temporarily use Genki Traveler as an alternative. Here's how it works:

  • Choose "Worldwide (limited in USA & Canada)" coverage

  • You must choose a home country when signing up

  • The insurance only starts when you are outside your home country

If your home country is the USA or Canada, you must either leave the country or already be traveling abroad when your insurance begins. In that case coverage in the USA & Canada will be always limited to 6 weeks per 180 days, for accidents and life-threatening emergencies only
