Most international health insurance plans, including Genki Native, allow you to add a deductible to lower your monthly premium.
What Is a Deductible?
A deductible is the amount you agree to pay out-of-pocket for medical expenses each insurance year before your insurance starts reimbursing costs.
Example:
If your deductible is €500 and you have a medical bill for €1,500, you’ll pay the first €500, and your insurance will cover the remaining €1,000.
Choosing a higher deductible typically means lower monthly payments, but it also means you’ll pay more upfront if you need treatment.
🔧 Deductible Options
€1,000 per insurance year
€500 per insurance year
€0 (no deductible)
📌 Deductibles apply only to outpatient care.
Inpatient care (hospitalizations) is fully covered without any deductible applied.
🔄 Can I Change My Deductible?
You can only change your deductible at the start of each new insurance year. Once selected, your deductible is locked in for 12 months.
Make sure to choose the option that best fits your budget and healthcare needs!
