There is no overall waiting period with Genki Native. This means any type of medical emergency, accident, or illness can be covered from the start day of the insurance no matter where you are located in the world.

You can start your insurance as early as 7 days after you complete your application.

However, there are a few benefits that do have a waiting period before you can activate them:

  • Inlays, onlays, bridges, crowns, and dentures have a 12-month waiting period, except if they are medically necessary as a result of an accident event. All of the above-mentioned benefits are covered by Genki Native premium only.

  • All maternity benefits, including childbirth, have a 12-month waiting period. Any sudden complications that put the mother or child at risk will still be covered without a waiting period.
