Genki Resident may cover pre-existing conditions, but coverage is subject to individual underwriting.
When applying, you must complete a medical questionnaire and disclose all relevant past and ongoing medical conditions and treatments.
The insurer (Barmenia) will assess your application and decide on the terms of acceptance.
Possible outcomes
After reviewing your medical questionnaire, the insurer may:
Accept the application without changes
Reject the application
Accept the application with exclusions or limitations for certain conditions
Accept the application with an adjusted premium due to increased risk
Each case is assessed individually.

Providing incomplete or incorrect information in the medical questionnaire may result in:
Exclusion of coverage for undisclosed conditions
Termination of the insurance contract at the insurer’s discretion
