Genki Resident, unlike many other international health insurance, does not have a session limit for outpatient psychotherapy.
Both outpatient and inpatient treatments are covered, but with limitations depending if you choose the Premium variant or not:
Covered by Genki Resident (non-premium):
Emergency inpatient psychotherapy (hospitalizations)
Initial outpatient mental health care (this doesn't include psychotherapy but only the initial sessions (up to 3) for first-time mental and psychological disorders
Additionally with Genki Resident Premium:
Outpatient psychotherapy (this includes full therapy without any session limit)
Online services such as BetterHelp can also be covered as long as the treatment is conducted by a licensed doctor.
