🦷 Dental coverage with Genki Resident

Genki Resident covers medically necessary dental treatments.

πŸͺ₯ General dental treatments

  • Unlimited coverage for medically necessary treatments such as root canals, high-quality fillings, inlays, and similar procedures

  • Covered regardless of whether the treatment is accident-related or not

🦷 Dentures, tooth & jaw adjustment (including orthodontics)

Coverage applies to dentures (e.g. dental prostheses, pivot teeth, bridges, crowns, implants), repairs to dentures, as well as dental and jaw adjustment, functional analysis, and functional therapy services, including preliminary and follow-up treatments.

  • 70% of costs covered, up to EUR 7,500 per calendar year

  • This applies to non-accident-related treatments

  • A 10-month waiting period applies to dentures and tooth & jaw adjustment (including orthodontic treatment) that do not result from an accident

Accident-related treatments

  • If dentures or tooth & jaw adjustment (including orthodontic treatment) are required as a result of an accident, 50% of the costs are covered

  • No waiting period applies in accident cases

✨ Dental cleanings

  • The Premium plan includes two professional dental cleanings per year

Dental treatments and cleanings cannot be booked through the Air Doctor app. You need to choose a dentist yourself, pay upfront, and then submit a claim for reimbursement.

πŸ”„ What changed?

Coverage for dentures as well as tooth and jaw adjustment (including orthodontic treatment) has been increased. Non-accident-related treatments are now covered at 70% of the costs, up to EUR 7,500 per calendar year. Previously, these treatments were covered at 50%.
